Join Us In DC 24 Sep for a Conversation with Doug Cutting on the Future of Apache Hadoop

Doug Cutting, founder of Hadoop and an Apache Software Foundation Director, is Cloudera’s Chief Architect and a leading advocate for the open source community. He has spent many years creating and contributing software to the open source community, including technology that is embedded across almost every organization in government. He originated Lucene, Nutch, Avro and Hadoop, and has also devoted an immense amount of time helping drive the open source activities of the Apache Software Foundation.

At Cloudera, Doug continues to innovate and create enterprise-ready capabilities across the Hadoop ecosystem. The Cloudera Distribution of Apache Hadoop (CDH) is a 100% open source distribution of Hadoop capabilities that enables distributed parallel processing of huge amounts of data across inexpensive, industry standard servers that both store and process data and can scale without limits.

Are you an enterprise technologist with an interest in the use of Hadoop in the federal enterprise? Please consider joining Doug for breakfast on Tuesday 24 Sep 2013. Discussion topics will include the Hadoop ecosystem, including Search and the current trends that are driving the industry forward.

Seating is limited, so we are asking that anyone who would like to attend please use our contact form. We will get back to you with details.
