We announced two weeks ago that we are now part of the Google Glass explorer program. Our view is that we need to dive into this technology for several reasons, including a need to track the impact of trends to wearable computers will have on enterprise IT. We also intend on writing more about Google Glass on our other web properties, including Analyst One (which focuses on analysts and analytics) and Delphi Brief (which has a national security focus). We continue those evaluations.
One of the first problems we noticed with Glass is a lack of information sources in the domains of technology, analytics and national security. Thanks to the great Internet-API site IFTTT.com, we have been able to easily construct some workarounds there. If you use Google Glass yourself, please check these out.
To use, simply click on the link and sign into your IFTTT.com account. You will need to activate your Google Glass channel.
